On 23rd September 2015 the Award Ceremony of the participants from seven countries in the Third International Competition "Karst under protection - gift for the generations" was held, organized by the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and supported by UNESCO. The participation of 137 High School Angel Kanchev was started by Senior English teacher Ms Reneta Valkova in 2012. This year the school participated in the competition in the following categories: Children up to 12 years; Children over 12 years and Individual Pupil Project (for teachers). The project conference was held together with the Award Ceremony and the winning works exhibition will take place in the Natural History Museum until 11th October 2015. The presentation titled "Our ProKARSTerra Challenge" for the participation of the team from the 137 High School was presented on the second day of the conference by Senior English teacher Reneta Valkova in front of representatives of seven countries. A view of their participation and the prize, a trip through the karst regions of North Bulgaria, was presented by the first prize winners Simona Hokinova and Manol Mutlyashki at the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

The awards of 137 High School Angel Kanchev are:
- First Prize for drawing in the category for students above 12 years for Simona Hokinova, Nicole Pavlova, Manol Petkov and Christian Mutlyashki  from 11B grade, "Nature and Art" section, karst education conducted  by Dr. Monica Mihailova, Arts teacher;
- Second prize for Individual Pupil Project (for teachers) for the team: Victoria Karanlakova, Reneta Valkova, Monika Mihaylova, Nora Topalova, Plamen Mitev;
- Third Prize for drawing in the category for students above 12 years for Catherine Metodieva from 11B grade, "Young researcher in Karstology"section, karst education conducted by Victoria Karanlakova, Senior teacher of Geography and Economics;
- Third Prize for poster / brochure in the category of students over 12 years for Valentina Philipova, Veronica Ivanova, Victor Djakov, Catherine Metodieva, Konstantin Georgiev, Nicole Pavlova, Simon Hokinova, Stefan Lanzov, Tsvetan Stoyanov from 11B grade, "Young researcher in Karstology"section, karst education conducted by Victoria Karanlakova, Senior teacher of Geography and Economics;
- Third Prize for drawing in the category for pupils up to 12 years for Rahim Haldy, 6B grade, "ProKARSTerra Traveler" section, karst education in English conducted by Reneta Valkova, senior teacher of English language;
- Encouragement award for poster / brochure in the category of students over 12 years for Katrin Metodyeva from 11B grade, "Young researcher in Karstology"section, karst education conducted by Victoria Karanlakova, Senior teacher of Geography and Economics;
- Encouragement award for essay/paper in the category of students over 12 years for Konstantin Vladimirov, 11B grade, "Young researcher in Karstology"section, karst education conducted by Victoria Karanlakova, Senior teacher of Geography and Economics.
